The very best & Coe

 

At the Olympic Opening Ceremony Sebastian Coe said:

 

"One day we will tell our children and grandchildren that when our time came we did it right. Let us determine - all of us, all over the world - that London 2012 will see the very best of us."

 

I hope when the Games has come to an end

Coe will be right and I will listen to Daltrey and Townshend

play "Real Good Looking Boy"

and picture "all those lucky fucks and angels"

who did their very best!

Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend didn't play "Real Good Looking Boy" at the Olympic Closing Ceremony but a beautiful medley of "Baba O'Riley", "See me Feel Me" and "My Generation" culminating with the spectacular fireworks at the end of the ceremony.
